Dr. Raul A. Hernandez, MD

Dr. Hernandez has practiced in San Francisco since 1990. He comes from a long tradition of physicians and surgeons. Even after 21 years, he is as enthusiastic about his career as his first day.

He graduated from medical school with high honors and earned a membership to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

He then moved to Boston to pursue a surgical urological career in the Harvard University Hospital system. His training brought him to exemplary institutions like the Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital and the Boston Children’s Hospital. For eight years, he was molded under the rigorous programs and professors of the Harvard Medical School Hospital System.

Since his arrival in San Francisco, Dr. Hernandez has proven to be a leader in his field with a great sense of community and a deep respect for human dignity. At the same time, he has demonstrated a great commitment to continued learning and for keeping at the forefront of the advances in the field. From the latest medical and therapeutic options to the most complex new technology, his office has continued to accrue experience and stay ahead.

Dr. Brian P. Grady, MD

Dr. Grady has been in private practice in San Francisco and Daly City since July 2000. Since that time, he has become an enthusiastic leader in new technologies particular to his field. He has proven to be a skilled technician with great clinical acumen and outstanding bedside manner.

Dr. Grady completed his urology residency at University of California, San Francisco under the tutelage of world-renowned leaders and innovators in urology. He attended Dartmouth Medical School, graduating in 1994. He then attended the post baccalaureate pre-medical program at Mills College in Oakland in 1988-9. His deep medical and scientific knowledge is well-rounded and complemented by his vast cultural understanding. He holds an A.B. Degree from Princeton University in English literature.

Dr. Grady has a strong interest in new medical technologies and quickly becomes an expert in the technologies he embraces. In the San Francisco area, he has been a pioneer in the use of many of the new advances. Some of his best known areas are his training in HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound), cryosurgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery for both prostate and renal disease. He has also been of great assistance to the experts in the fields of fertility. In his 11 years in the area, he has developed a great reputation amongst both patients and peers.
